The Cat Lover

HoodieZombie: " Why all the hate? He is obviously not in a rich area, his cats probably had fleas or were caked in dirt and he is clearly not in america. it's the best this man can do, he just wants them to feel clean, maybe thats something he doesn't get often? You don't know him, don't judge him."

Thanks ~HoodieZombie. U Save me. I can not speak English more a lot how to explain everyone here. I'm just know my uncle very2 like and love the cat. I'm like Photography and grazy about HDR editing.

Don't let some of these comments bother you ... they border on sheer ignorance or stupidity.

"I would never cage my cats."  ... Oh, really? :omg:
"A cat lover does not put a cat in a cage." ... You. Don't. Say. :iconblinksplz:

I don't know to feel happy for these people, who have not had to use a cage for their cats, or to feel sorry for their ignorance.

Wow, some people get upset over the weirdest things.  He's giving them a bath, not hurting them.  Normally cats can take care of themselves, but not always.  I have an 18 year old cat that I found as a kitten on the side of the road.  His hair was matted, he was covered with fleas, he had ear mites and was very near death.  I had to give that kitten a bath a half dozen times with flea shampoo before I got rid of all the fleas.  I had to clean his ears out with swabs twice a day for a week and put in medicine to kill the mites. I had to cut out the matted hair.  It was not a fun ordeal for the kitten, but he survived and is a happy, healthy elderly cat now.  For all we know this guy is a veterinarian assistant getting these cats ready for adoption.

It is a heartwarming photo.  Very nice!

Hm, the cats already look shiny and nice. They seem a lot calmer than my cats do when they get dirty enough for me to have to bathe them (I usually come out of the experience with quite a few scratches).

Ahhhh ... this lovely pic warms my heart! I don't usually like seeing pics of cats being bathed (don't get me wrong, I know it is necessary sometimes, even though cats do not require regular baths), but this one is exceptional. There is so much warmth and gentle love in his face, it gives me goosebumps (in a nice way). A man that loves cats so much must have a heart of gold. Thank you for sharing.

The Haters can go to hell. He is doing his best. In fact, i do not give them a lot of baths, but i still recognize the fact they need to be cleaned as well.

Wow, so many angry comments. And it's a picture of a man washing cats *amazed* and I really have to fight myself not to get pulled down in the infected discussion in the comments. I want to explain, defend, condemn, scream at the top of my lungs (metaphorically speaking that is), but I won't.

Instead I will say that I really like this picture. I like the way he smiles and the colors and environment. It looks like he does his best to care for the two kittens even though he might be poor and not have the "proper" tools. I think this picture deserves its dd.

So there. Now I'm going home. *leaves*

Seriously, people. If someone was so abusive to a cat to have it live in a cage, why would they care enough to wash it?

You captured a great moment here. :) I hope other realize that he certainly looks like he's trying to do what's best for the cats. Periodically, here at home we have to wash our cats, too. (And I live in the US. I don't think it's that weird to wash a cat--particularly if you have ones like mine that love to get into things and find themselves covered in art supplies or food.)

Aww what a lovely moment. Clearly he cares for these kitties, and the one he's holding would be tearing his arm off as he's holding it so lightly if it didn't trust him.

WOW. So much silly controversy over this picture. Well I like it. I find what looks like an act of kindness in what seems to be a developing country where cats may not be able to survive very well a touching picture that catches the eye. Good job :)

Yeah sure cats hate baths and water. but this is such a wonderful picture. :) The poor cat was probably INFESTED with fleas. I give my cats baths when they have fleas. To be honest, all of you hating on this picture, are you even cat owners? These are probably outside cats. Fleas, ticks lots and lots of dirt! And poooooop stuck to their buuuuutts! Cats get dirty, and no, they don't "clean themselves" they lick all over which is why some people are allergic to them.
in any case, any true cat lover would take care of their cats, even if it means a LIIIIIIITTTLLLEE bit of "torture."
Same goes for dogs! Some dogs hate water, and have a fit! They hate being groomed, and snap at their groomers and bathers. But it has to be done to keep them healthy. Deal with it.
Frikin pansies.... Calm down... Don't get your panties in a bunch. ;D

Also this picture is wonderful. Did I say that already?
PEACE.

Yeah, my kitty never needed a bath until he was older, although as a kitten he did elect to jump into the tub with me a couple of times. His curiosity about the water ripples and bubbles, and his sweet personality wanting to stay close to me brought him right into the water. :3 He didn't really mind baths until my little sister gave him one as a little girl. (We didn't catch her until it was too late. She tried, but a three-year-old just isn't gentle in their kitty-bathing techniques.)

yeah i'm guessing it would be about a gentle as that story heard on the funny jokes app... basically a dog tells you how to bath your cat & clean the toilet at the same time

Yeah. After that, he would stand on the side of the tub, but wouldn't get in with me. Poor kitty.

put a squirt of pet shampoo in the toilet, throw cat in, flush several times, open the front door & clear a path thenstand as far back as you can to still reach the lid

and seriously, who would wash cats without gloves on if not a cat lover?;) or someone with very thick skin...

but I love the contriary meaning of this picture :o it could be help against their will or kinda ironic, but why would he use protein shampoo then?;) and smile?

I've had to give cats baths before.

One. a Female kitten, that my friend adopted had.. evidently been living in a unhealthy, and unclean environment (judging from the dirty-oder the cat gave off) so we had to bath it.

The other, my friend's 20lbs long hair (indoor) male, has some dandruff issues, plus his fur does get greasy, kinky, knotted and just kinda mangy, (and he is brushed often in order to prevent the knots)

Sometimes cats need to be given a bath for whatever reason
